Our Team
David Annett is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Alignment Property Advisors, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. With 13 years of commercial real estate experience, he has personally led or been instrumental in over $1 billion in transaction volume across his career.
Prior to founding Alignment PA, David served as Vice President at Northmarq and, before that, as Associate Director at Stan Johnson Company, where he played a key role in establishing the firm's first formal practice group — the Corporate Finance Group. That group was built around serving real estate operators and private equity clients with a focused range of services, including sale-leaseback transactions, build-to-suit structuring and financing, lease advisory, restructuring, and surplus property dispositions.
David holds a Master's degree in Finance from the University of Tulsa, with a concentration in Portfolio Management and Corporate Finance. He is a licensed real estate professional in Oklahoma and an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

David Weissman is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Alignment Property Advisors, based in Chicago, Illinois. He brings a distinctive investment perspective to the firm, shaped by over 15 years of experience operating across commercial real estate, private equity, and corporate leadership. David concurrently serves as Chief Investment Officer and Partner at Maple St Management, where he leads the transaction team.
Prior to co-founding Alignment PA, David spent four years as Acquisition Manager for the NNN Fund at Greenleaf Management, overseeing net lease investment activity across national markets. Earlier in his career, he spent over a decade at Emlin Cosmetics, rising to Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President — a background that gives him a nuanced understanding of the operational and real estate needs of owner-operated businesses.
David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management from Hebrew Theological College. His experience on both the ownership and investment sides of real estate informs his approach to advising clients at every stage of a transaction.

Grant Freeman is an Analyst at Alignment Property Advisors, based in Houston, Texas. He supports the firm's transaction team across underwriting, valuation, and market analysis, evaluating net lease opportunities and building the financial case behind each deal. Grant brings a background that spans investment brokerage, financial analysis, and hands-on business ownership.
Prior to joining Alignment PA, Grant served as an Associate Investment Advisor at Marcus & Millichap in Houston, where he worked with buyers and sellers on net lease transactions across national markets with a specialization in coffee shop assets. Before that, he was an Investment Analyst at TRC Capital Partners, focusing on underwriting, valuation, and commercial real estate strategy. Earlier, Grant spent nearly three years as Operating Partner at Freeman Coffee Enterprises, running multi-unit coffee operations in Tulsa, Oklahoma. That experience gives him a working understanding of what drives tenant performance and how operators think about the space they occupy.
Grant holds an MBA from Rice University and a bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Oklahoma. His operating background sharpens how he reads a tenant's fundamentals when underwriting an asset.
